By far, the best things I ever put on my feet. Bought my first pair over four years ago and my cat immediately decided they were the enemy. He left some pretty deep tooth marks on the side of the sole. No big deal, I thought, because like most thong sandals they probably won't last that long. Four years later, I was still explaining why "those sandals you wear constantly" had feline inflicted battle wounds.

If those sandals were a truck, they would have made it 750,000 miles before crumping. Did I forget to mention they are comfortable? Ohhhh, yeah. Bottom line - buy them, you'll like them.

PS - I have a new, much more sane cat who is living with my new pair of Sperry sandals in peace. Now if he would just quit sharpening his claws on my leather furniture...

I bought a pair of these sandals 3 summers ago and I must say they are best sandals I've ever owned. They are very durable and the only reason i'm buying a new pair is because my dog turned my others into a chew toy. For those of you who have sweaty feet, they are perfect. There is no cloth to absorb the moisture and make them stink like other sandals with the cushy insole. I would recommend buying one size larger than your regular sneaker size. They do tend to run a little on the small side.

Sperry has it going on with the Santa Cruz Mens Thong Sandal! Easy break in time! An hour is like you've had them for over a month. Good quality leather and stitching, good material bonding on the sole, no drip runs on the bonding resin. They appear a shade lighter in life than on the web image. Watch the shoe size chart, the size ten is actually measures 11.25 inches (Foot Area) on the platform inside the ridge, from the big toe area back, going right of the thong, to the middle of the heel area. Light, flexible, and very comfortable with the Sperry "Wave" pattern both on the platform and the tread. I'd buy two pair so when these wear out (or somebody steals them) you'll have another pair!

I bought a pair of these at a local shoe store last year and LOVE THEM. I'd wear them all the time if I could. I decided to order a back-up pair through Amazon/[...] to have ready if mine ever died. I got the new pair, the size and style are marked correctly, but the leather instead of being dark brown is almost tan and THEY ARE TOO SMALL. They fit really really tight, while my first pair was a dream from the beginning. I wear a men's 13, so I'm ordering the 14 to see if that fixes it. (I went to a local shoestore and found the same size/color problem with the 13s there.) It appears they've changed something in the last year about how they manufacture them--at least, the men's larger sizes. If I wasn't having the sizing problem, I'd give them 6 stars!

This is my second pair. These are quality shoes. Highly recomemend. Fits true to size (at least in the 8M). Best price was on Amazon.

My husband says: Wear them daily. Nice arch support, my heel falls in the center rather than on the left side, all in all the best flip flops I've ever had on my feet and I've tried them all, Tevas, Rainbows, you name it.

This is the best fitting flip flop type shoe. It is well worth the price for the looks...the fit...and the life of the shoe.

Bought a new boat so need new boating shoes. These TopSiders are so comfortable and well made!

These seem like nice sandals, and I think they would be comfortable if they fit. I ordered my normal shoe size, but they are much too small to wear. I recommend ordering a bigger size.

I purchased a pair of these in 2004 (it is now 2012) and the strap between the toes finally broke. I would wear these for about 6-8 months out of the year. the only reason they broke today was because I was out in some really sticky and deep mud and the suction from me pulling my feet out finished them off.

they are very durable as I have been hiking with them, and have worn them as rigorously as any shoe. I just purchased a new pair. I remember the break-in period to be about 2 days (forming the leather in between the toes) and they will float in water and water does not ruin the leather in any way that I can think.

Best of all these do not leave any black stuff on your feet!!
