This is a work of art! The album presents an array of facets displaying a portion of whats to come. I look forward to exploring more of Mr.Siegel's works. I'm very impressed with Sphere.

I liked this CD very much. Good all-around variety of contemporary jazz. Loaned it to someone who must've thought the same because I never got it back. Ordering another. Guess I must like it.

I attend a local Junior College to learn more about art and horticultural classes. As a student I get to attend the music performances by several jazz orchestras. Dan Seigel is a music instructor at the college and is the featured artist in an upcoming concert. To show off to my wife, my knowledge of jazz artists, I pulled out my old vinyl copy of Seigel's "Another Time, Another Place".

I happened to notice on Amazon that Seigel released this new CD in 2009 so I listened to it and bought it the next day. It is an excellent CD with many thoroughly enjoyable songs. Dan Seigel is an excellent pianist and has some very nice arrangements and some excellent musicians backing him up, including Larry Carlton and Tom Scott on two songs.

If you aren't familiar with Dan Seigel, or haven't heard his music for a long time, I recommend this CD for your collection. He doesn't sound like David Benoit, Jim Brickman, Greg Karukas or Brian Simpson, other great musicians, but he has his own jazzy but mellow sound.

You won't be disappointed. It's a great find.
