5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully creative and mythical, January 14, 2000
This review is from: Spherewalker Sourcebook: An Everway Book (Paperback)
This is designed as a supplement for the Everway Role-Playing game, but it can be used with lots of other fantasy role playing systems, or it's even fun on its own for someone interested in fantasy, mythology, or alternative anthropology.

This book has the format of an encyclopedia, with entries on various fatanstic creatures, organized groups, societies, and artifacts. Plenty of information for the use of Game Masters designing quests. It can also be used as a player resource, with the assumption that the information presented in the text (written from an "in character perspective") isn't entirely accurate.

The first sourcebook for a game is usually its best, and Rubicon will have to try hard to break this trend
