I use lots of bay leaves when cooking and find many brands lack the bright pungency that adds a special touch to a dish. These have a nice bright green color. They flavor dishes quite nicely. I was surprised to find that these were as good as those of Spice Islands, which I have tended to prefer over all other brands.
