I found this book in a bargain bin and was first captured by the photos - large, colorful, very engaging. One thing I like most about this book is the history given in each region's chapter - I like cookbooks that you can read as well as cook from. We made the Persian rice and it was so lovely! This is definitely a book that tempts me to push my cooking boundaries. A wonderful gift.
