nice workmanship and detail, November 28, 2010
This is a beautiful top - definitely a dressier look, but also wearable with jeans for a party or going out. The fabric is deep red chiffon (the color of a good chianti) with a fully lined bodice and sheer sleeves, beautifully embroidered. I did find the embroidery brighter than expected around the neckline - orange and golden yellow, but it works with darker skin tones. Make sure you order according to the chest size given -- I ordered larger than usual because other kurtas I have bought on Amazon have run extremely small, and it turned out to be true to size. I am planning to exchange it for a smaller one.
