I used Woodward's Gripe Water for my toddler when she was born back in 2008, and it was amazing. Now that I just had my second daughter, I purchased two of these, only to find that they now contain methylparaben and propylparaben (which mimic estrogen in the body), and the glass bottle is now plastic. I'll be making my own at home, rather than subjecting my newborn to toxic chemical preservatives!

My daughter is now almost 5 months old. The first month of her life I tried every product for gas sold at walmart and Walgreens with no help. Finally after much research on gas drops, gripe waters, and other aids; I purchased Woodward's Gripe Water. It was the best thing I did for my baby. We have a very happy baby. If she has gas or is hungry, she cries, but all other times, she is very happy. This product really is amazing. I have been wanting to video it so you can witness for yourself. When the baby cries because of gas, I give her the recommended dose for her age and sit her up and pat her back. Within five minutes (usually less than 2) she either releases a ton of gas or burps a lot or both. After it is passed she is happy go lucky again and if it is nighttime goes right to sleep. Truely amazing to see. Worth every penny. I wish I had known about this when my other child was a baby. And anytime it doesn't work, then the baby wasn't crying about gas pains. Honestly this product is worth a try. I have wasted so much money on expensive name brands that didn't give my child any relief. Why would I buy anything else when this truely helps my baby feel better. I will also be buying this for upcoming baby showers. I will work on getting a video of her taking the medicine. Everyone who witnesses it is amazed.

My mom used this with me when I was a baby. I have used this gripe water with all 3 of my daughters and it has been a life saver. I tried all the other gas relief drops they have out there and none of them work the way this does. The sell similar gripe waters in the store but I never used those due to a recall on them but this one is the original gripe water! The best ever. The price is great but I do agree that the shipping is more than the product but to me it's worth every penny.

As a new inexperienced mom, I lost lot of sleep over my baby's digestion issues. My mother suggested woodward's gripe water and moms are never wrong !! it did wonders.

I use it when my baby is extra fussy and she calms down quickly. She also likes the taste.

Gripe Water works really well for my gassy, milk intolerant baby. It also makes his hiccups go away in seconds.
The packaging though leaves something to be desired. When I pulled the paper off the top, so I could open the bottle, there was a sticky, gummy residue all over the lid. The seal was hard to break, and once it was broken, the lid won't tighten all the way. We have to be very careful not to let the bottle tip over because it will spill.
I need more, but will be looking for a different brand.

My newborn has been struggling with painful gas since we brought him home from the hospital. I tried the usual gas drops you buy at Wal-Mart and after 2 weeks of using the drops, I gave up and decided to look online for help from other parents dealing with a fussy gassy baby. The best part of Woodward's Gripe Water is that it's all natural. After 2 days, I noticed a huge difference in my baby. He's not as fussy and burps easier. This is the best!

my friend recommended this when I had my daughter and was worried she might have colic. Woodward's Gripe Water worked miracles! Within 10 minutes of giving it to her, she would calm down. If you are worried your baby might have colic (or is just really fussy) you should definitley give it a try!

I tried everything with my first daughter to help her with her gas issues, and nothing worked like this gripe water! I have sent it to all my friends, and now that I am expecting my 2nd, it's the only thing I will use! I highly recommend it! It was also great for teething.
