I bought this toy for my 3 year old who absolutely worships Spiderman, but the glove was large for him (and yet a perfect fit
on me, an adult).

Because the glove was too large on him it got in the way of the silly string so we ended up just taking off the glove and strapping the toy to his bare arm which worked well. He was able to play with it and shoot every villian toy he could think of. But it only lasted about 5-10 minutes of fun.

I thought the idea to also include a water gun/pump was great, but that was even a bigger dissappointment because it was much larger than the silly string container, so much in fact that he could not even bend his arm at the elbow. Hopefully he will still want to play with this toy when he gets older and grows into it.

Good idea for older Spiderman fans.

p.s. Moms, be sure to wash all silly string off as soon as possible the purple string stains on some surfaces if you do not act quickly.

The idea for this toy is cool....but once you get it home and try it, it's not what it's cracked up to be! The glove was way to big for my son and the silly string just hit his finger tips. So I had to tape all the fingers down so that it could spray. The cans of silly string ran out in about 10 minutes of playing with them. (Local store) sells more cans but they are around $7 for 2 more cans! You are going to go through alot of money fast...too fast! The water blaster part was even worse. The water wouldn't spray out very well...sometimes it wouldn't come out at all. We returned it!

My son asked for this a billion times until we finally bought it for him on his birthday. The gloves are a little too big so the spray gets caught on them, but he just took the gloves off and just used the machine. It straps seperatly so you can use it with or without the glove. My son loves it. The stringy stuff will stain clothes if it does not come out as string. Sometimes it will come out as liquid if you did not shake well enough! BUT we have both enjoyed it!!

I bought this toy for my two sons ages 5 and 3 and was quite disappointed. The "silly string" tends to shoot out in globs instead of in web-like form. The "silly string" container will last your child all about 5 minutes before you will need to replace it! I thought it was great that they included a water-gun attachement-type shooter but it stopped working by the 3rd refill for one of my son's. The gloves are quite large and I can hardly see where they would fit on a child's hand. The fingers of the gloves kept getting in the way of the silly-string/water shooting that I had to tape them down. I know the price of this toy isn't high but it's not worth the money either! Sorry!

This is definitely for older children. My 4 year old saved his birthday money and could not wait for this. It should have a different age group on it as the fitting is definitely for older children. It was even too big for my 6 year old. They loved the 'web' stuff, but it was gone quickly and we have not been able to find more. I would be very careful before choosing this fairly costly toy.

I bought the web shooter today and I must say that it rocks!! It looks so good on the glove and is great fun to play around with!!

The silly string spray is cool, the first can just squirted blobs but the second can works well with a good flow of 'webbing'. One tip, normal silly string cans work too, just pop the white bit off the webbing cans and put it on the silly string can!

The water attachment is cool too, with a good range and holds a fair amount of water. It also has a pump to make it more powerful. The arm to the pump is a bit flimsy though and will show fatigue easily.

Overall a cool and fun toy! Its always a laugh 'webbing' things and as this is the closest I will be to being Spiderman, it rocks!!!

This toy is really fun but we can't find more of the dog on web fluid refils!!! Other than that this toy is the best!

This toy is a lot of fun.The glove fit my 7 year old fine. We are extremely dissapointed that we can't find extra cans of web fluid.The water can is a very good idea.

This toy is a lot of fun. I've read all of the other reviews on this sight. The only negative ones are from absentminded mothers(no offense to them) who say they have boughten this toy for their 3 year old son. If you look at the box it says "ages 4+"
this toy is very cool, although the range could be improved, but it is still very cool. overall, i would say that if you are reading this review and you haven't already boughten the toy that it would be a very wise choise to buy it.

my son really wanted this toy for christmas and sad to say it is a waste of money. the glove doesn't fit a childs hand the fluid doesn't even shoot out like a web then it has strong smell and is messy....it will also stain your clothes and walls. the person that thought of this toy had a great idea but the person that designed it wasn't in the right frame of mind.it's a piece of junk...very disappointing
