Not exactly what I was expecting.,

I got this for my 3 1/2 year old, who LOVES Spider-Man, and has many of the Spider Sense books. He saw "Evil Comes in Pairs" in the back cover of one of his books, and wanted it. This book is okay, if your kid can read and doesn't need pictures, the chapters are short, and the story is fine. My son kept asking me where's Venom and Carnage? There's only a few black and white pictures through out the book, and the one Venom picture doesn't do him justice. I rated this book 3 stars because I feel the paper is cheap. It's MAYBE a step above newspaper quality. The book isn't terribly bad, just not what I was expecting.

Black and white? Really?
I agree with the above post this is not what I was expecting. I suggest if you want splashes of color you buy the Step Into Reading Spiderman series. Don't let the cover fool you. This is a black and white reading book with a few pictures. |
