This review is from: Spider-Man 2: Rapid Punch Spider-Man Action Figure with Punching Bag (Toy)
My son received this as a gift for his birthday...it never worked. The picture is inaccurate because of the rather large non-removeable attachment to Spiderman's back which houses a pull-string to trigger the punching action. We thought it would work once we detangled the knot that was in it when we took it out of the packaging. There is a switch of some sort on the back of the attachment, but we haven't figured out its purpose. It would make sense if you could pull the string, then set Spiderman down in front of the punching bag, then flip the switch on his back to make him punch, but that's not how ours works. You have to hold Spiderman to pull the string. He punches as you are pulling the string, so there is really no point in having the punching bag unless you are going to *hold* Spiderman in front of the punching bag as you are pulling the string. The second you let go of the string, it is sucked back into his back. The switch on ours, if that's what it really is, doesn't do anything. I don't know if ours is broken or if it is just a poor design, but either way, my son lost interest after about 2 minutes. Fortunately, there were enough other presents around to distract him so that he never really missed it when we threw it away.
