4.0 out of 5 stars could have been much better but its still quite good, February 5, 2005
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Spider-Man (Video Game)
yep!heres a could have been classic bogged down by ignorance.first theres lots of web slinging, wall crawling, fast paced bouncing about etc.the first game i ever played where i felt like the guy was anywhere near like spiderman for real.theres a plethora of cool moves.some boards do suck though like this long drawn out one where youre battling underground in a sewer.why did they put a guy whose mo is rooftop slinging in a sewer?beats me!the bosses are so so.rhino and scorpion are both pretty cool fights.venom too.carnage is a pain in the butt but once you figure it out really simple.doc ock and mysterio both stink.then theres them darn symbiotes.they are a major pain in the butt.they should have had a alternate character for this part .say maybe banshee and firestorm could have a baby who grew up and filled in right here.[since symbiotes hate sound and fire ya bunch of jokers].spideys fight moves are really basic but his web moves are quite extensive.you can wrap a guy up,web switches, zip line straight up to the ceiling or to a wall, snipe your spot to web and even fire web ...........pouches or whatever those are.this game is fast paced and great fun.its a bit obnoxious at times like when they put you on a timer.i hate that but i can honestly say ive only cussed this game a handful of times and that for me is a major accompolishment.
