I discovered Spidey on "The Electric Company" as a kid and this theme song has stayed in my mind ever since. There's so much outrageous energy and humor to this version and it's much hipper than the corny 60's theme. I highly recommend this CD as a compliment to any dance party mixer, it simply rocks. It should also be included/covered the movie sequel's soundtrack!

Spider-Man appeared on the children's show The Electric Company back in the 1970s. He had a theme song that played during during his segments. On the show the theme song lasted less than 30 seconds, but unbeknownst to all, there was actually a full length version of the song. On this cd, the song is three minutes long and it's pretty cool. Very 1970s sounding. Fans of The Electric Company will dig it.
