I bought this book to read aloud to my son and I struggle sometimes with the choppy and reduntant sentances. The storyline is also a little rushed, even for a children's book. Needless to say this is not our favorite, we enjoy Spiderman vs. the Green Goblin.

My 2 year old loves monsters, scary stuff, and superheros, but it's hard to find books scary and exciting enough for her that aren't too scary for a 2 year old. This is a good one, some of the readers about Spider-Man and his powers in general are fun to read once to understand who Spider-Man is, but there are no real satisfying stories in them. This one is a specific adventure she can follow and wants it read again and again.
