You play as a spider and crawl around destroying the creatures in your way (slugs, rats, bats, scorpions, other spiders). You also get these micro-weapons that attach to the spider's legs: bombs, missiles, poison, etc. The game is like a side scroller but it's 3D. You don't control the camera but it moves around to different angles. It has a cool soundtrack too. Be aware that this game is really short and a bit too easy but everything is solid, smooth graphics, good responisive controls. There is no analog function (no joystick control) but the controls are still perfect. You can also use a memory card or passwords to save your game. This is definetely a playstation treasure.

Great game. Couldn't find it anywhere except on Amazon. It plays like it is brand new. It is a very challenging game!

I first encountered this game waaaaaaay back in grade-school, and it was on display on the PS1 vs whatever was on the Sega Saturn. Despite buying the Saturn (and paying the price for that but the console-wars are beyond the scope of this review), I always had this little bugger in the back of my mind.

Finally, after probably 10+ years later, I finally got curious enough to purchase this. It has an old-school, twitchy feel to it reminiscent of some of the NES games I used to play. I'm glad I bought it.

the last of the great games on playstion system

a few years ago,i rented this game.i dont remember much,but i do remember sitting there drooling cuz it was awsome.
