I started using this on my baitcasters for big bass last year since I was losing too many fish to broken monofilament line. It is phenominal in this case. No memory and excellent castability. No issues with damaging the eyes on any of my rods like the old braids had. Haven't had a breakoff since I began using this line and the 20 lb casts better than 12 lb mono. (It has landed a 14lb 1 oz, a 12 lb 0 oz, and several over 5 lbs in this time) Learn to tie a Palomar knot for best results. You do need braided line scissors for clean cuts.

If you use a spinning or spincast reel, the results are different. The castability is no nearly as good and the line has a tendency to bind in the spool - limiting castability.

I would recommend this for anyone using a baitcaster but would not recommend it for the other types of reels. I purchased the bulk roll since the smaller spools were a waste of several yards when filling my reels. Good fishing to you.

This is some fantastic fishing line well worth the price,you can feel the smallest bite.
