My 4 year old loves playing with just the figure by itself. Not really interested in the String clamp (which is rather cheesy). But it is a good action figure to play with and use with other spiderman figures.

I purchased this for my 3-year old daughter who's really into Spiderman right now. When it arrived, I was thoroughly surprised with regard to how many joints are movable on this action figure. You can pose Spidey in just about any position imaginable. Head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, legs, fingers, feet, ankles...all movable. Each individual finger (except the thumbs) and the toes (as a single unit) are even movable. I often find Spidey laying around the house in undignified poses, looking more like the star of a Broadway musical rather than a crime fighting action hero, so I take the time to reposition him and man him up a little.
