My kids loved the movie and books and we wanted some pictures to color that would be fun. This book was the only one I could find. We have colored stained glass books before and loved them so we were very excited. However, I did not care for it. There was only one fairy picture-pitiful. The rest of the pictures weren't very interesting-mostly people. For a movie wrought with magical creatures, they chose the most boring ones to put in it. The pictures had very thick lines without much detail. We love to color but didn't even color more than a few pages. Between four kids and I, we usually go through a book in a week.

The qulaity of the pictures is very good - better than some I have bought from Dover & other sources. The leading is not overdone, nor is the picutre too simplistic.

THE SPIDERWICK STAINED GLASS BOOK WAS PURCHASED FOR A GRANDSON, WE ORDERED ALL OF THE SPIDERWICK CHRONICLE BOOKS FOR HIM. HE PARTICULARLY LOVED THIS ONE I SHOULD ADD THAT THIS IS A COLORING BOOK, SO CHILDREN YOUNGER THEN MY 10 YR. OLD WOULD ENJOY THIS BOOK.

I wasn't disappointed in the service from the seller, but by the book. It is basically a coloring book full of pictures from the movie. My granddaughter who is 11 was not impressed.
