Stay away from Spiderwire EZ braid. I bought a spool of this because it was a couple of bucks cheaper than the Spiderwire Stealth. I had nothing but problems with it the one fishing trip it stayed on 1 of my rods. It did not cast as smooth as the Stealth. It tended to dig into itself on the reel after being reeled in under load (fish on lure). It would then bird nest(and was harder to get it out). The only braid I have tried that was worse than this was Firewire Crystal. Don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of Spiderwire Stealth I have 18 rods with it on them. The couple of dollars you save on The EZ braid is not worth the issues it has.

I love this fishing string. It is tough, does not get tangled easily and I have caught many fish using this fishing line!

I have used the 10# and the 20# for freshwater fishing on spinning reals and it has been great.

I think in some ways it is equal stealth braid for a few reasons.

It spools tighter on the spool and never digs in to the spool. (stealth tends to dig in on the edges)

Very strong but does fray rather quickly, once it starts to fray it's done. I take off about 15" ever week I fish.

I also think it casts better than stealth and ultracast. I can't prove it though.

It makes excellent knots and for me it almost never makes wind knots. (I get wind knots with stealth occasionally.)

Things I don't like is it doesn't last very long.

It isn't very round (this helps it spool up nice though)

And it isn't smooth when you reel it in, it feels like you reels is sandy inside at times.

Over all it is very good, I like it. I haven't tried it on a bait caster so I don't know about that.
