4.0 out of 5 stars Great Cocktail Glasses
These are perfect cocktail glasses that are not too heavy, hold a decent amount of ice, and feel good and comfortable in the hand. I make a lot of different types of cocktails and am always searching for the right barware. These glasses are great for anything "on the rocks". They seem sturdy, wash easily and don't feel delicate in any way. They say they are dishwasher...

3.0 out of 5 stars doesn't feel right
Too heavy for the size . They look ok, but don't feel like real crystal. I was expecting a nice thin lightweight glass.I can't tell much difference between these and regular run of the mill glass glasses( which are half the price). Reidel water glasses were much nicer.

They say they are dishwasher safe, which I'm sure they are however I typically hand-wash my glasses. For the price you'll be hard pressed to find a better glass. As an added bonus the money saved on these glasses allows me to buy and enjoy premium booze.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful and elegant, December 15, 2010

They are smaller than normal glasses, but I think that make them look even more elegant. They look a lil dark in the image but know thhat they are completely crystal clear. The base is not perfect when you look at one of the ones I got from the side, but it's nothing you can see from an airplane. They look delicate, but so far they've survived the dishwasher :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite like the photo, December 2, 2011

The product image is a bit misleading. In the picture, the product looks like a thick, heavy glass. In reality, it's a thin walled glass, especially around the rim. Seems like it might be delicate, but so far has held up well. Apart from the damage in shipping (one glass was broken into tiny shards - Amazon refunded me for 1 glass per my request vice sending the whole box back), I like them and I'm enjoying using them for my bourbon and scotch.

I stumbled upon these while replacing the wine glasses made by the same brand. I really like them. At first they look a little small but in fact they are the perfect size and weight. Recommend them highly.

These glasses I picked up because I wanted to experiment with some Absinthe mixes. With my large ice cube tray, these seemed the perfect glass for it. I did not want to just get a normal set of glasses, something you might get at the "Red Bullseye" store. Or even just something cheap. Granted these are not the most expensive out there, but they are Made in Germany, and the reviews spoke of it being solid, and had durability and some weight.

When I got them, they were nice clear, solid glasses with the right width. All 6 were in perfect shape and shipped well. I never heard of the company Spiegelau, but I really like the glasses. They feel good in the hand. They show off the drink well. I wanted a good glass and I got a good glass. So I am happy with them.

The shape of these glasses is unique and very aesthetically-pleasing. I would definitely recommend these to friends. I've run them through the dishwasher already and they held up just fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful glasses!, December 2, 2011
This review is from: Spiegelau Soiree On The Rocks Glass, Set of 6 (Kitchen)
We received these glasses as a wedding gift and they are spectacular! They hold a decent amount of drink (caipirinhas, in our case). I do feel a tad nervous while handling them because the rims are quite thin. I worry that I might break one. But they are sleek, modern, and simple all at the same time. Definitely, my type of glass for company.

Purchased these glasses as a gift. The shipping was prompt and the item arrived as described. We are pleased with the quality. These are wonderful old fashion glasses that hold a perfect size double on the rocks.
