We love these glasses and feel that for the price they are a great value. We even put them in the dishwasher after every use and they come out crystal clear. The size, shape, and glass thickness are all perfect for us (we usually drink cabs, zins, and syrahs).

Very nice wine glass. Much more durable than Riedel and doesn't break as easily. Very well made and for the price, it is totally worth it for everyday use.

These glasses have almost the identical dimensions as the Riedel Wine Series (Riedel Wine Series Cabernet/Merlot Glass, Set of 4) and are smaller than the reknowned Riedel Vinum Extreme (Riedel Vinum Extreme Cabernet/Merlot Glasses, Set of 2).

Spiegelau Vino Vino Bordeaux Glass, Set of 4. Purchased on 06/15/2010) Very happy with these wine glasses. In fact I bought a set for a house warming for my daughter and I bought another set for us. Nice weight/balance. Look nice and they are dish washer safe. Like their height as well. Fair price too! Can't go wrong with these wine glasses.

Our last Spiegelau glasses lasted 14 years before we realized wine was starting to etch the glass. I looked at other crystal glasses and really like the feel of the Spiegelau glasses in my hand. I wouldn't put my lips to anyother crystal for the joy of sipping wine....

It has been 8 months since my purchase and I could not be happier. Packaging was great, none arrived broken. The Glasses themselves are elegant and durable - none have broken so far. They are brilliantly clear, perfect for assessing the color and viscosity of the wine. They are thin but not to the point of being overtly fragile, which I think is the perfect balance.

Great for Bordeaux, Bordeaux blends, as well as the individual varietals permitted in its blend - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and the two varietals which now are seldom used in Bordeaux; Carménère and Malbec. I also would not hesitate using this glass with Syrah, Tempranillo, Zin, and most Italian wines. The only reds (that I drink) I would use a different glass for would be Burgundies (Pinot Noir) and Nebbiolo, Spiegelau's Burgundy glass works well with these. As you can see this is probably the most versatile style of glass, it is a must for any wine drinker.

We use these glasses regularly. They are beautiful and not as fragile as they appear. I wash them by hand, and dry them by hand, and they come out as gorgeous as the day I got them. We enjoy these wine glasses. I rarely give anything a 5 star, but these glasses have earned every one of them. We've had them for some time now and they have endured some accidental bangs very well.

Well worth the money! They look great, right up there with the Riedel glasses only 10 times cheaper, you can wash them in the dishwasher, and they really do help bring the wine out. We use them pretty much every day ourselves and I'm thinking about getting the second set just in case some of them break in the future. I've gotten all of my friends these so that when I visit I can drink wine from a real glass (don't tell them that ).

Purchase was to replace earlier model Speigelau Red Wine glasses that had broken over the 15 years which we had used them. New glasses are 1/4 inch taller but very similar in size and appearance to the older ones. We loved the earlier model but the revision is a definite improvement with a more refined look and feel. They provide a great tasting vessel for Shiraz, Blends and Primitivo. The tone it makes is a magic sound. They come out spotless from the dishwasher. Price during the 4 for 3 special was an unbelievable value. We bought four sets of four.
