Five Stars for the Environment, Three Stars for Price,

This review is from: Biodegradable Dog Business Bags (Misc.)
OK, let's be blunt: Putting aside the clever name, "Business Bags" are bags for dog poop. But they're not just any bags - these are made from corn husks. They are biodegradeable and fully compostable, (according to the manufacturer, the bags decompose in 45 days). They are also septic system safe. And if that's not enough, they are a very cool emerald green color. If you are concerned enough about the environment that you "pick up" after your dog, and you'd like to go the extra step of ensuring that there aren't plastic bags of mouldering dog poop littering your local land fill, "Business Bags" may be for you. However: 1) At 6 bucks for a box of 40, the bags are not cheap; and, 2) The bags are not as "substantial" as some others that I have used - I haven't put my finger through one while using it, but they are flimsy enough so that you feel like you could. So....
The "Dynamic Duo," (a male Westie and a female Scotty), say "Five stars for the environment - three stars for price - four stars overall." [This is an up date to my review: We've been using Business Bags for about 2 months now, and the "flimsiness" that gave me cause for concern is indeed a problem. While I haven't put my finger through one, I have torn several while I was detaching them from the roll - you have to use more care than you do with plastic bags. I have also now had the opportunity to use them in the rain. When wet, they are more difficult to open than plastic bags and they get soggy. I still like them personally - that "corn husk, green thing" is a big plus to me - but there are other biodegradeable bags on the market, and you may find Business Bags to be more trouble than they're worth.]
