Once again, Spike finds himself in a new and adventurous situation. My kids really enjoy reading this book! The illustrations are great... they're colorful and I just love Spike's facial expressions throughout the story. It's a wonderful book.

My children and I have been following the adventures of Spike since he first graced the pages of childrens literature. I can't say how many hours of joy we have scored through his adventures. My littlest one, who cannot yet read, carries the book around and tells the story through the colorful and exuberant pictures. Keep the adventures of Spike coming Ms. Bogan! And to the rest of the world...don't miss Spike as an opportunity for enjoyment and for teaching your children some of life's most important lessons. BUY IT!

SOMETIMES LEAVING HOME ISN'T ALL YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WHILE SPIKE IS IN THE KENNEL, HE GETS REALLY SAD BEING AWAY FROM HIS HOME AND SHANNON.THEN, BOGAN LIGHTS UP THE PLACE WITH FUN AND GAMES. THIS POOR POOCH PLAYS PLENTY. HIS SADNESS IS FORGOTTEN UNTIL HE HAS TO LEAVE. KENNELS AREN'T SO BAD AFTER ALL, AND THEY GIVE EVERYONE A COOKIE. DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!
