4.0 out of 5 stars 1 ..., 2 and 3 were good, haven't seen the rest
The title says it all... This, along with part 3 was pretty damn funny. 1 ..., don't waste your money... but 2 and 3 are worth it. Haven't seen 4-6 or the DVD's so I couldn't tell ya how they compare. As somebody else already said, you have to sort through some stupid ones, but there are enough funnies to keep ya laughing.... FF through Furniture Phillangies... the worste...

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointing!!!
I was a huge fan of the S n'T shows while I was in college. With much anticipation, I awaited the arrival of this DVD. After watching it, I immidiately put it up for auction on EBAY. I would not recommend. I have heard that vols. 1 and 2 are pretty cool. I think vols. 1 and 2 are the clips that they showed in the theatres while on tour in the early 90's.

3.0 out of 5 stars Penises, anyone?, September 7, 2000
By
This review is from: Spike and Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation (DVD)
This disk started out very promisingly, and yes, it does have *some* funny & entertaining material. But after the first handful of skits, it becomes clear that the vast majority of these cartoons depend upon the viewer's shock and/or delight at seeing an animated penis, or animated sex acts. And I suppose the argument could be made that the title of the disk makes no promises to the contrary. It does get old pretty fast, and the lack of enough genuine creativity -- i.e. ideas that do not involve a penis -- brings the re-playability of this disk way down. I watched a friend's copy, and after the first few cartoons i was ready to buy the disk. But by the end, i was tired of it.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit slow, but still sick & twisted, February 21, 1999
By A Customer
Part of what makes Spike & Mike's sick and twisted festival so great is the atmosphere and crowd participation. Good films are made better with cheering, and bad films are made better with booing. Some of the ones on this collection stand up nicely on the small screen, others not. If you're a huge fan, you probably already have it. If not, I suggest you pass onto some south park or beavis & butt-head dvds and videos. Or not. I suggest this dvd for maybe a party (any time when you and a group of your buds are wasted.). Still, plus for the fact that it's easy to skip the bad ones.

3.0 out of 5 stars Disgusting., December 10, 1998
By A Customer
Now, I liked (at one point) Ren and Stimpy, but this is vile, degrading humor. Nose pickings, booger flicking and eatings, feces, bodily self-mutilation and even bestiality are a few of the perversions that are on this video. If you like that sort of thing in animation, go right ahead and pick this up. Otherwise, don't bother.

3.0 out of 5 stars The name says it all., July 31, 1998
Are you demented? Do you have a sick sense of humor? If so, you would probably really enjoy this collection of animated shorts. I had actually attended one of the Sick and Twisted animation festivals about a year ago, and I personally enjoyed the (way) off-the-wall cartoons. However, if you are thinking of purchasing this for younger viewers, think again. With such shorts as "Horndog" and "How to Make Love to a Woman" or even better, "Rick the Dick", you're looking at some very mature content that should really only be viewed by people old enough to not let the language bother them, but young enough to still appreciate jokes about flatulence and explicite animated sex (like me!). Oh yes, and do be aware of the fact that there is full-frontal nudity of both men and women characters on this DVD. Okay, that's about it. END

5.0 out of 5 stars Saw in theaters, July 9, 2002
By A Customer
I saw the first 3 episodes of Spike and Mike in San Francisco at the theaters. What an experience! It was loads of fun. Even though the video does not have Scotty the Balloon eating dog chomping on a blow up girl doll, the video is great but definately not for younger viewers. I saw the festival of animation 1-3 in the Theaters and would recommend it for younger viewers. I do think some of the *fun* was lost in the tape and not having the experience of being there but it is still worth getting and hard to come by...

1.0 out of 5 stars Stupid and Unfunny, March 25, 2003
This review is from: Spike and Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation (DVD)
I was having a downright cheerful day until I watched this dvd. When I first saw the case I thought, "Hey, Spike and Mike! They've introduced some really cool stuff over the years." Unfortunately, almost none of it shows up on this dvd. The only short I can recommend in good conscience is the Bill Plympton short, How to Make Love To A Woman. If the dvd were about $2, Plympton would be worth it, but for a price [that's higher], I have to suggest avoiding it at all costs. Unless you find the prospect of various animals, vegetables and minerals defecating in many non-hilarious ways, stay far, far away.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sick and Twisted, October 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Spike and Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation (DVD)
Just as the title says, this collection includes some unbelievably sick and twisted animation work by different animators, including a hilarious one by Bill Plympton. There are 35 animations on this DVD, 100 minutes total, so it isn't a bad buy. More laughs than Titanic!

1.0 out of 5 stars This trash gives animation a bad name, August 23, 2010
This review is from: Spike and Mike's Sick & Twisted Festival of Animation (DVD)
I've been watching some short films of late, including animated, and am looking for titles of other DVDs online. I remember sitting thru some of this material at some college screenings... complete vulgar trash! Do not buy!
