About the Author
Spike Milligan, the much-loved entertainer, broadcaster and writer, was widely regarded as the most influential British comedian since the Second World War. He was awarded the CBE in 1992 and was given an honorary knighthood in 2001. He was given two Lifetime Achievement Awards: one at the British Comedy Awards in 1994 and the other at the British Book Awards in 2000. His published works include poetry, scripts, novels, letters and general humour including his much-loved and very funny According To... series.
