The original Spiky didn't have spikes in the back, so it was possible to be wearing it and still slip and fall if you pushed off from the heel. Spiky Plus, with heel spikes, is great. I have osteoporosis and must avoid falling on ice and slush, and I have used Spiky Plus for some years now with safety. To be even safer, walk flat-footed on your Spiky Pluses!

The newer kind of traction aids, with the small steel rings strung along wires, is no good at all for black ice or smooth ice - the rings just skid on it - and if you wear that kind inside just to stop in a store for a minute you can slip on the floor. No one has beaten Spiky yet.

I bought these for ice fishing, but have been unable to go. We recently had freezing rain and our driveway is like an ice rink. They worked just great. Great traction and confidence!

After you have purchased the other items on the market and found they won't work, be sure and give these a try! They make a perfect gift for someone that cannot take a fall! You will not be dissappointed!

These fit well and do help so you do not fall on ice/snow. Fits over shoes. My husband has fallen many times during winter months, but not since he has these. Traction is very good.

My Spikys are great at gripping the ice. Much better than those Yak Traks. They go on and off easily and have not slipped around on my boots. In addition, they are very light weight. I feel the Spikey Plus is an excellent product at a reasonable price.

This is a great product It is like the old times with studded snow tires. I feel very secure walking on ice with your Ice Gripper
