Best designed and most colorful book for game collectors, October 1, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Spin Again: Board Games from the Fifties and Sixties (Paperback)
"Spin Again" is one of several good books for game enthusiests and collectors available on Amazon. Of them, this book is has the best in visual design; a fun, well layed out "coffee table" book about the best of the cool baby boomer games.
[NOTE: You can read my review of several of the other books on games and game collecting in my review of "Games: American Boxed Games and Their Makers 1822-1992"]
Compared to some of the price guides, "Spin Again" doesn't cover nearly as many games as the others, but it is designed more as a display piece than a reference book. However, this book does contain quite a lot about the game company histories and histories of some of your favorite classics, and some cool games you may never have heard of... This book is great fun!
