This is a fabulous book for those who have, or have had struggles with bipolar disorder. It flows very nicely chapter to chapter and is an easy read. It is 115 pages of an honest and heartwarming account of the author's struggle and success in her battle with bipolar illness.

I highly recommend it for consumers of mental health and for the professionals in the field that work with them. Specifically psychiatrists, therapists and clergy.

I truly enjoyed reading it.

This honest and transparent account shows a unique view from both sides of the fence - a mental health provider who also is a mental health services consumer. Shannon Flynn clearly shares personal experiences of struggles, from tender teen years to thriving professional adult stages, tethered to mental health issues. I recommend reading for laypersons and professionals.
