I think this plane is pretty cool. It does break easily, however super glue will fix most breaks. My son just turned 6 and he can get the plane to fly for a long while. I've been concerned a few times that it may get stuck on the neighbors roof. This is a neat toy that you will enjoy as long as you don't expect it to last more than a week or so of repeated use. I do wish they sold the planes alone without the charger, to save a little money when replacing.
