5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Wiggles fans.
My daughter received this as a gift for her 3rd b-day and loves it. She'll stand the guitar up and dance along with it. It doesn't seem to work on carpeting, it falls over, but it's pretty remarkable on hard surfaces, the thing REALLY moves and grooves. The sound clips sound great and my daughter also really likes the silver buttons that play the silly noises.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun but not a good dancer
I could not wait to buy this guitar for my 22 month old son. I disagree with the previous review regarding the sound chips. Our sound chips sound extremely realistic and I can definitely tell the difference between the singers. My son loves pushing all the buttons and listening to all the different sound bytes(I am happy with the variety). However, it is suppose to dance...

I bought this for my 3 yr old son and he just can't get enough of it. The guitar is amazing! Stand the guitar upright, and it has a sensor on the bottom that starts making it wiggle back & forth. I found this in the incredible display at the Toys R Us in Times Square and just had to have it.

Our sound chips sound extremely realistic and I can definitely tell the difference between the singers. My son loves pushing all the buttons and listening to all the different sound bytes(I am happy with the variety). However, it is suppose to dance and wiggle. It constantly falls over when dancing! My son has learned to prop it against the walls so he can dance with it. He does play with it every day but I can only give it a 3 because it does not live up to the manufactuers review. They should have designed the base a bit heavier to stop the constant falls. Otherwise I would have rated this toy as a 5.

What a nice improvement over the first Wiggles guitar! But, I have to agree with the other reviewer in that this guitar doesn't really stand up too well by itself. That was noted in a test run and should have been corrected. However, when my little one saw this in the store, he wanted it desperately, even though we also have the first Wiggles guitar. This one really is cute - it plays all the songs just by standing it up, and it really does just fine when you put it up against the wall. But, my little one has already figured out other ways to play with it - upside down, you name it. It's really cute watching the handle move around on this thing and it's just a very cute toy. A lot more realistic than the first guitar too, I might add. The sound chips are a little off tone wise, but that doesn't detract at all from this toy. And, buy it here for goodness sakes. Walmart is $5 higher! That's where we saw this first and my little one carried it throughout the whole store. He seldom asks for a toy so when he does, I know he really wants it. This is a keeper, no doubt there, and it went to bed with him tonight. There's a true test for any toy. Turn on the Wiggles Live CD with this in the house and it really makes for a very fun time for the whole family. Highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wiggley Fun!, October 9, 2005

My then 2 1/2 year old received this as a Christmas gift last year. He is now 3 1/2 and still plays with this toy all the time. I'll admit it can be a little noisy. But he loves it! I have even observed my six year old daughter playing with it. My kids are hard on toys so for this one to be still going as much as they play with it I would say it is very durable.

My 2 year old daughter was very excited to play with her new guitar, but as she reached for it while the guitar arm was wiggling, the plastic hinges on the guitar gave her a very bad pinch and black and blue mark! This is not a safe toy.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect gift for a child obsessed with The Wiggles!, January 26, 2005

We received the Wiggle & Giggle Guitar as a gift and it has not left our 2 year old's hands since. He loves it! It makes him laugh and keeps him very busy. We have a lot of Wiggles toys and this one, for us, is the best because it plays a lot of songs and tunes - not the same 3-4 over and over as the other toys do. The only downside is that it's a little heavy so it's hard for our son to carry it up and down the stairs and he drops it a lot.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Wiggles toy yet!!!, November 30, 2004

This is one of the most imaginative toys I've ever seen. My 3 year old son will not put it down. Not only does it shake and wiggle, but it has 8 great songs and sounds (including Jeff sleeping, wags barking, captain feathersword laughing, etc.)

It was sold out at Amazon, but I was able to find it on another site which has a ton of Wiggles items. If you have a little Wiggler at home, this item is a must have!!

Once we got the toy home, it never worked as well as it did in the package in the store. It falls down very easily and we have stable, hardwood floors. The batteries die more quickly than you could imagine. I can't wait to take this to a resale shop. Hopefully, it can find a home where it isn't just taking up precious space.

My son recieved this gift for Christmas because it was the first toy we had ever seen him get excited about from an ad on tv. We haven't had too many problems with it falling over and the sound is great. The only problem I have with it is that there aren't enough volume control options. It seems the only options are loud and louder. Other then that it's a great toy and my son loves to "play along" with the Wiggles on tv :)
