Sesame Street is dedicating this entire year of new episodes to encouraging kids to exercise and eat right. While this is great, it does seem a bit ironic that the kids just sit there and watch it. From out of left field, however, comes this Spin and Pop Arcade! You want your kids to get some exercise? Throw the balls onto the spinning wheel and watch them bounce around and then onto the floor. Our little guy is only 1, but when those balls go flying around the room, he determinedly walks over, squats down, picks them up and puts them back. It's sort of why the best "sport" for developing great abs is Table Tennis: you're constantly bending over to pick up the balls. The whirling and bouncing action holds his interest for a good long time, and it doesn't matter if he periodically stops the spinner with his little fingers. So... good. One caveat though: most all of his other toys have an "off/low volume/high volume" OR a "low volume/high volume" switch. This one has just an on/off switch. Though it turns itself off after one song (unless the action plungers are pushed), the music plays at A SINGLE LOUD VOLUME. Too bad. Would have made this a perfect toy.

My son got this for his first birthday and it was an instant hit. He loves watching the balls spin and every new toy he gets he takes over to his ball table to see if it spins. This is one of the only toys he has recieved that he has never lost interest in and uses every day. He is a rough little guy, as all boys are, and it has held up quite well! My only complaint was that it is a little loud but a piece of tape over the speaker solved that problem. I would recommend this toy to any parent. Whether you have a girl or boy any child who loves balls will love this toy!!

Baby uses this table more than Leap Frog's, May 16, 2006

We bought this toy for our daughter when she was 7 months old. Now she has 1 year and has been using it every day! since she got it. She just doesn't gets tired of it. The first months she used it without the legs. When she learned to stand up, we added the legs. We have this table in her play yard, next to the Leap Frog Learning Table. When she got the Leap Frog table, she liked to play with both of them, but now she uses this table a lot more than the Leap Frog's. She likes to put her little toys in the center, to see how they spin. The table is very VERY loud and it doesn't have a volume control. Our house's rooms are ample, so the sound doesn't bother us; but if you plan to use it in a small room, you can add some tape in the speaker. I tried it and it worked, but I took it off because the sound keeps my daughters attention. Overall: 5 months of everyday fun, and still going on! Excelent!
