Mimi Braverman is an editor who currently lives in Pennsylvania. She wrote The Spin on Spiner so that Spiner's fans could have a handy and accurate reference guide. She also strove to clear up many of the misconceptions about Spiner's career, and along the way she was able to uncover little-known facts about Spiner's credits and to nail down other aspects that Spiner had been elusive about.

It has been mentioned before that this is not a tabloid-geared biography. Braverman steers clear of the personal and focuses on Spiner's public life and professional life -- not his personal life. This is a refreshing change from the Kitty-Kelly-esque celebrity bios we are used to seeing published. I do not need to know Mr. Spiner's favorite cereal or whom he first had intercourse with and where. This "spin" concentrates on the good stuff. Bravo, Ms. Braverman.

Takes up where "Spinerisms" leaves off. Whether you are a fledgling new fan of Brent's desperately trying to catch up on all you have been missing or a die hard veteran who fell for Brent watching "My Sweet Charlie" in 1970 (his first time on screen), this is the book you have been waiting for.
