Wonderful! Fantastic! Far above the common run of Celtic music one ordinarily hears! I was so lucky to be given this great CD as a gift. I treasure it.

I saw Whirligig last year, and they really impressd me with their innovative use of texture and color. Their sound was a breath of fresh air. Thier two cds, The Wheel and SPIN only enhanced my appreciation of their musical quest. I felt they are both beautifully produced. Their aesthetique is just delicious.

I have seen Whirligig in concert and they are fantastic. Their first CD, The Wheel, was great, and this new one, Spin, is even better, the sound richer and more layered. They continue to grow as musicians, as does the leader, Greg Anderson, as a producer. They play traditional Celtic, as well as some very interesting and different stuff; they're not just stuck in the "trad" grind.
