About the Author

Linda Diane Feldt lives in Ann Arbor Michigan with her two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. She has maintained a full time private practice in integrated holistic health for more than two decades, and teaches classes locally and nationally.

A student of the healing arts since 1973, her work includes cranialsacral therapy, polarity therapy, herbology, and massage therapy. Linda Diane is also the author of "Dying Again: Thirteen Years of Writing and Waiting" and "Massage: Learning to Give and to Recieve" as well as many articles published nationally and locally.

Format: Paperback
This book is far more than a cookbook on dark green leafy vegetables. As a strict vegetarian, I am always in search of good vegetarian recipes. After a while, the cookbooks all start to look the same. This book stands out in that it not only gives a lot of good info. on buying, preparing and storing green veggies but talks of the many different kinds of greens and provides some innovative recipes for preparing them. It provides simple, unique recipes for using greens in soups, stir fries, sandwiches and wraps as well as some great healthy salad dressings and dips. The book is clear, easy to read and provides great recipes that include ingredients you can easily find and prepare.

If your into healthy living you shouldn't be without my friend Linda Diane Feldt's cookbook!! It's packed with many healthy recipes, and a lot practical knowledge. Info on greens you might not be accustomed to using but don't sweat it, she will walk you through the process of preparing them with success. There are many interesting sauces like Ethiopian Berbere and Sesame Miso. Recipes from chapters ranging from Pot Greens, Salads and Uncooked Greens, Stir Fries and Skillet Dinners to Soups, Bakes and Casseroles, and Sandwiches, Wraps, Rolls and Dips. There is even a chapter on Greens for your Animals! Linda Diane will give you advice on Infusing Vinegars, making your own Homemade Yogurt, as well as the use of what some would call unconventional greens! I love this book and I think you will find it well worth the read!

The author obviously loves greens! I have enjoyed learning from the is book. The format is somewhat difficult to follow. The recipes are not indexed by particular greens.
