Could have been better.,

This review is from: Spinal Imaging: Diagnostic Imaging of the Spine and Spinal Cord (Medical Radiology / Diagnostic Imaging) (Hardcover)
This book is inconsistently written and in my opinion suboptimally illustrated. There is a disappointing lack of comprehensive discussion of myelopathies, vascular lesions, or syringomyelia. The book seems sloppily edited. For example, the text and illustrations in the chapter on degenerative disc disease are inconsistent. The figure legends describe illustrated disc pathology in a fashion inconsistent with the system of DDD nomenclature outlined in the text. The chapter on spinal stenosis is very poorly edited (at least in the English version that I purchased) with numerous typographical and grammatical errors.
Those hoping for something that might update Manelfe's opus will be quite disappointed. For the price I certainly expected more. |
