Simply fill the pen with tap water, turn on the 4x4 vehicle, place it on the mat, start drawing a line, and then watch as the Jeep magically travels along it! Once your line dries or stops, the car does, too. To make their adventure more exciting, there are even plastic characters and scenery pieces to place around the mat.

The 81-by-53-inch drawing mat is large enough for several kids to doodle on at a time, but you’ll need to buy more "magic" markers (sold separately). Because the "ink" is only water, this is one activity that is truly mess free. If an artist should somehow draw off the mat, there will be no trace of it. Drawings fade from the mat in 30 to 60 seconds, making sure that little hands always have a blank spot for their next masterpiece. You don’t even have to wash the mat between coloring sessions!

This set comes with one Aquadoodle mat, one water pen, one motorized vehicle, and six plastic pieces with stands. Two AA batteries are required for the vehicle, but not included.

Wow, what a cool toy. My 3 1/2 year-old loved it - and even I was amazed to find that the car actually does follow any line or swirly maze you create on the mat. My only complaint is that the car tends to turn off fairly quickly. We like to take our time drawing up a cool path for Diego and Dora to follow, so we're always having to turn the jeep over to switch it back on again.

Other than that minor issue, it's a very cool and creative toy.

This has been a lot of fun for my daughters. They love it and it's easy for them to play with. Not much else to say, it's easy to set up and will last forever.

My daughter is a Dora fan and I thought this would be a great Christmas gift. She likes using it, but becomes frustrated because the car doesn't seem to follow the lines very well and/or turns off too quickly. I think the mat is great; the added feature of the car was something that isn't living up to expectations.
