4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Toy
Purchased this gravity car for my grandson, age 9. The car performs over expectations and has been a source of many hours of fun for the entire family.

3.0 out of 5 stars Eats batteries like crazy!
We got this in the mail, and my son couldn't wait to use it. He charged it up, and turned it on. IT IS SUPER LOUD. Louder than a vacuum and the tv on at the same time. The only thing that saved it from being thrown out was the light on my son and his best friends face when it actually stuck to the wall and zoomed past me. The only thing that saved it from being thrown out was the light on my son and his best friends face when it actually stuck to the wall and zoomed past me. However, another downfall was the battery life. It is pretty much non-existent. He can only get a few good runs out of it before it dies, and when it DOES die, it literally just drops off the wall wherever it's at.

My 7 year old got this for his birthday. The first one didn't work at all other than making a horrible noise. The second one broke almost immediately. Battery life extremely low and it falls off the wall when the charge runs out. Don't waste your money on this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not good enough for the cost, September 7, 2008
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
It's a pretty good toy, but for how expensive it is it should perform better. The car's four wheels are just cosmetic - really there are two small wheels hidden under the body's plastic shell. The two-wheel design makes driving on walls that aren't completely smooth tough, cause the car won't be able to drive up parts that bump out. Having the car's four wheels not really turn looks cheap and less cool.

It drives pretty well on the walls and ceiling, but it moves pretty slow. On the ground it's faster, about the speed you'd expect for such a small R/C.

The car is noisy when it's in wall-mode, the fan is about as loud as a hairdryer. It's fallen off the wall a few times and not been damaged, because it's so light it seems durable enough to stand up to normal use.

It's pretty fun to drive on the walls and ceiling, but I wish it were faster and that all four wheels actually spun. It's expensive for not having those features.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun toy, don't pay too much!, September 2, 2008

This is a fun little car, and works well on the walls. It isn't worth a penny more than I paid for it (29.99) at W--M---, though!
And keep your receipt, it seems a little flimsy. We've had such bad experience with air hogs items, that I don't quite trust this will last very long.

This has got to be the coolest Toy Invention in a very long time! This is an awesome amazing toy that will leave you & your kids WOWed!! While the battery life could be longer, it dies out just when you'd had enough of the noise that comes along with it. I mean seriously parents - do you really want your kid racing this car around the walls and ceilings while your watching tv, doing the laundry, cooking dinner? For 20 minutes it's great and then after that you're happy for the battery to recharge until next time. This is a GENIUS invention & is sure to be a HOT TOY for years to come!

I bought this for my 12 year old nephew and he and my husband have had a blast playing with it. I read the review of the person who was upset that it didn't work well on the floor! The whole premise of this toy is that it drives on walls and ceilings! How cool is that? We rate it SUPER FUN & VERY DURABLE!!

This is a great remote controlled car.

I bought it for my nephew's 6th birthday in November. He loves playihng with it--however; if you have textured walls (as my brother / SIL do) the car will have a hard time sticking to the wall.

My nephew found out that it will work on the french doors, windows, and the underside of the dining room table, though...

1.0 out of 5 stars Junk, September 22, 2008
By
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
My daughter loves cars, and she saw the commercials on tv for this toy and kept saying she wanted the wall racer. Since her birthday was coming up, we decided we'd get it for her. I can't believe what a piece of junk it is. First of all, it didn't come with the wall stickies to make a "course" on the wall, and the car itself barely stays on the wall. When it is on the wall, it doesn't "race" really fast like you see on the commercial. It's WAY slower... the noise is annoying.... there's nothing really positive I can say about this car. Save your 50 bucks for something more useful and entertaining.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised, December 27, 2008

I was skeptical about this car after reading the other reviews, but it was on my son's Christmas list so I ordered it. I didn't think it would actually drive on the walls in our house... and if it did, I thought it would leave scratches on the wall. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually did drive on the wall with the help of a built-in vacuum.. which is a very clever invention!

I told my son I needed to test it to make sure it did not damage my walls. My son waited patiently as I drove it all over the walls and had a blast "testing" it. I have a slightly textured wall, but it still drove with no issues and did everything as promised! Lots of fun!
