These classic favorites trace their origins to early 17th Centruy Europe, where sword play with the rapier was considered an essential part of a gentleman's education as well as resolving gentlemanly conflicts. Each rapier is equipped with a 37 inch stainless steel blade with a mirror finish. The steel wire wrapped hilt is surrounded by sweeping steel guard creating authentic appeal to each collectible. Includes blade sheath with polished metal caps. 44" overall.

I practice period rapier combat and other Western Martial Arts. So I am familiar with what a "real" sword feels like.
All I was looking for was an inexpensive display sword as a gift. It is a disappointment I didn't get it.
If you are looking for a poorly made, badly assembled sword on a budget, this is it.
The welds on the guard and quillons are just plain awful and look like they were done in a sweat shop by kids.
The quillons are uneven and oddly shaped. the handle does not sit on the tang properly and is permanently offset from the pommel.
The blade is extremely whippy and flimsy. It bends even when holding it vertically!
All I was looking for was an inexpensive display sword as a gift.
And I got instead a shoddily made piece of trash.

This sword is not sharp, and I saw no indication of this before I purchased it. It's nice looking, but I was expecting a functional sword. Not a super blunt metal stick.
