Cheap and Shoddy,

I practice period rapier combat and other Western Martial Arts. So I am familiar with what a "real" sword feels like.
All I was looking for was an inexpensive display sword as a gift. It is a disappointment I didn't get it. If you are looking for a poorly made, badly assembled sword on a budget, this is it. The welds on the guard and quillons are just plain awful and look like they were done in a sweat shop by kids. The quillons are uneven and oddly shaped. the handle does not sit on the tang properly and is permanently offset from the pommel. The blade is extremely whippy and flimsy. It bends even when holding it vertically! All I was looking for was an inexpensive display sword as a gift. And I got instead a shoddily made piece of trash.

This sword is not sharp, and I saw no indication of this before I purchased it. It's nice looking, but I was expecting a functional sword. Not a super blunt metal stick.
