Keane is one of the greatest new bands of the last 5 years. Amazing songs with Melodies that no other singer comes close too. Wonderful production. Songs that make you feel something..

The World of Somewhere Only We Know Is Spiralling, August 24, 2008
When I heard this track's premiere BBC Radio 1 on Jo Whiley's show I believe it was, I didn't really catch the full effect of the song, because I had the volume down. But when I downloaded the track off of Keane's webpage during its givaway, I was hooked. Why the difference? I had the volume cranked up. This is a great dance track that may not break ground musically, but it may cause all those dancing to break concrete because of the massive vibrations caused.
Keane clearly wanted to have fun with this track, and lyrics clearly don't matter, but the Tom Chaplin describes its meaning as "a train of thought about human endeavour." Whatever that means, I don't really know, I'm just digging the groove. And this dance track isn't in the vein of BPM's, or "Shake It" but rather it's more of a throwback to the outrageous and wild dance tracks of the 70s/80s.
Overall, I doubt this song will have any major chart success, but it doesn't aim to dominate the charts, but rather it aims to keep you moving. A noble goal indeed, especially since it succeeds. Keane sure has changed since the days of "Somewhere Only We Know;" certainly not what you would expect from the brit rock group, but sometimes the best things comes totally unexpectedly. And extra kudos the colourful collage of colours for the single cover. Jumps right out at you.

BRILLIANT!!!FANTASTIC!!!REVELATORY!!!, March 9, 2010
This review is from: Spiralling (Audio CD)
BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC and REVELATORY!!!! I'm not sure what the writer was going through when he/they wrote this song but I must say it is a revelation. This is what I call inteligent dance music; brilliant in EVERY WAY!!!! This is extremely stylish and melodic no wonder from what I heard this song didn't go very far!!! The dimwitted radio programmers and the insanely dumb record buying public (well not ALL)...LOL allowed this gem of a record to fall through the cracks! And it did and it has!!! Need more songs like this, need more intelligent creativity like this in music!!
Ya Dig?? If you don't like what I said then....!!!!!
