Christopher Penczak, is fastly becoming recognized for his ability to take very complex topics and make them understandable, and useful in the everyday world. If you wish to journey to the other side, access, and use your spirit allies, this book will enable you to do so. I highly recommend the Inner Temple, The Outer Temple, and The Witche's Shield, as well. The Inner Temple and companion cd's have changed my life.
Christopher is not only an author, he is a very well known witch, he teaches, and guides others to do what is in the highest good of all, harming none. This author is going to bust through the charts..just keep reading and buying, you'll see.

A motivational and seminal work, Spirit Allies is highly recommended reading for students of metaphysics, parapsychology, and occult studies.

This is an excellent book that presents many different approaches to spituality and practices without obvious bias and does so in an easily understandable and non-threatening way.

I totally disagree with the other reviewer who thinks that some of the exercises are dangerous. As is said in the book - "...if you do not feel comfortable [with any certain aspect(s)] do not attempt it..." Energy follows intent.

It is not only within ourselves, but our responsibility to gain spiritual understanding of ourselves, our place in the universe. This book offers tools that all of us can use to get started on our own journeys, or help us along ones we are already travelling.

Incredible job and very inspiring. If I could have written a book like this I hope that I would have done as well. Bravo!

When embarking on a study of anything metaphysical, spiritual or esoteric, please read this book FIRST. Christopher Penczak lays the groundwork that you can build on to understand the concepts of all of the genres I listed. It is easy to read and understand, full of valuable information, great exercises, and lists (angels, fetish animals etc). It is a book that you will refer back to, and probably even read twice, as there is so much information in it. This is a great basic book to read to get a well informed overview of all things "Spiritual". For those who have been around the esoterical block a few times, read it! There is so much information in it that you may still learn something new! This is a MUST READ!

loaded with very interesting insights, and effective exercises. A book for anyone interested in working with spirits in various ways including channeling, it sets forth and clarifies a lot of important points not easily found. The author has an easy-going, open-minded, conversational, and remarkably surprising way of presenting his material. It opens lots of windows and doors. Take a look.

This is definitely a must-have for those who wish to contact their spirit allies. I haven't done all of the exercises in the book, but I've read through it and can't wait to actually try them all out. His personal stories in the book relate to the stories and really go to show that our spirit allies are real - they're just waiting for us to contact them.

He offers self-protection "rituals", which is a definite must-do before any spirit communication takes place and different exercises for preparing to contact our spirit allies and actually speaking with them. He also wrote in exercises for casting a magick circle and more. Although it isn't aimed at one religion, it seems more witchcraft-influenced.

If you're interested in how to contact your spirit allies, get this book.

Christopher Penczak is a wonderful teacher. His books are easy to follow, and great for beginners and people who have studied Wicca for a while. I have learned so much from reading this, and I look forward to using it in my Shamanic journeying.

This is a must have for all Pagans. It is clear and in layman's terms a great way to contact the other side and to learn to work in harmony with them to achieve your goals.
