As a true fan of Sylvia Browne's teachings, I was a little disappointed when this much anticipated book arrived. As a lover of animals and owner of four legged, winged and finned pets, I have learned quite a bit from reading many wonderful Native American teachings about animal totems and the beauty of animal spirits and what they teach us, and I have enjoyed working with those energies as a Reiki practitioner as well as using their lessons in my daily life. Therefore, I was very excited to read what Sylvia had to say on the subject. I have to admit I was expecting so much more than what was contained on the pages. The pictures were lovely, and the sentiments were very nice, but I read the book cover to cover in less than 15 minutes. If you are on a tight budget, you might want to borrow it from the Library, or better yet, split the cost with a friend and perhaps send the money you saved to an animal shelter.

This book is lovely. The photos are absolutely wonderful. But I must admit I was disappointed. I felt that there was so much more the author could have said about the souls and spirit of animals. Animals do indeed have souls, they are precious to their creator and belong to Him. I would have liked to see more substance in this book.

I have read alot of Sylvia Browne's books and I was hoping this book would be more in depth on the subject of animal's spirits. So many of us have lost a beloved pet and are asking the same question: Do our pets go to heaven after death and is there any proof? I have read many books on the subject and most of those are just the author's interpetation of Bible scripture. I was hoping this new book of Sylvia's would go in-depth on the subject and give overwhelming proof that our beloved animals truly will be waiting for us on the otherside. This book is more jeuvenile, designed possibly for chilren rather than adults.

I do not recomend this book to anyone.........unless you like looking at pictures.....two minutes of reading time at the MOST and it will not make anyone grieving for a lost friend feel any better.....in my case, made me feel worse!
Check out Kim Sheridans book 'ANIMALS and the AFTERLIFE'...this one will help you..........

I did like the book but it was mostly photos of cute animals and not much more . It should be marketed as a childrens book. Not much substance for a reader who is looking for information on animals souls.

I lost my little Yorkie and was devasated when she died. I was looking for comfort when I purchased this book. Although I will always miss her I found some answers that helped to ease my grief. I have read it several times and purchased a second one for a friend that was greiving the loss of his pet.

"SPIRIT OF ANIMALS" INSPIRES A PERFECT JOY DEEP IN THE SOUL IN KNOWING THAT BEINGS OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM ARE TRULY ANGELS AND MESSENGERS FROM GOD, AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH LOVE AND RESPECT. This little book is a great fast read. It's beautifully illustrated and has comments throughout by both Sylvia and her son Chris Dufresne as well as some letters from her readers and true short stories. It answers questions you might have about what happens to our beloved pets when they cross over. It would be a beautiful gift for anyone but especially for a young person who has lost their animal friend. Thanks for reading.

I returned this book. It was too much like a childrens book instead of like Sylvia's other books on spirits.

This book was a bit disappointing. As I thought it would go more into detailing the animal world. Instead it has a lot of pictures with small captions on each page. Good for young adults.
