It is a thought-provoking book for those who wish to understand the meaning behind encounters with animals. Spirit Animals gives you the primal messages embodied by 24 wild animals and suggests how those meanings may apply to your life. Indigenous peoples all over the world honor the spiritual messages of encouragement, warning, recognition, and self-awareness inherent in the moment of encounter. My son (the illustrator) and I, created this artistic guide hoping to help people develop a deeper spiritual relationship and communication with animals, and that in doing so, aid in protecting the remaining wildness on the planet.
