I am 31 years old and have been walking with God for 9 years now. I try to read through the bible 1 time per year. I have the privilege of having 5-10 different translations and different study bible's including the grown up version of this one. Not telling you this to brag as you don't know who I am, I am building up to the point that this is my favorite one. The study notes don't get in the way with too much "interpretation". It just states the facts in very simple terms. And will encourage you in your walk with God whether you are a new believer or have been walking with God for many years. Everyone that has had any exposure to this Bible will tell you that it is GREAT!

i bought this bible for myself and was amazed at how much i loved it and bragged about it. I am a leader in my youth group and the kids were saying that the reason they don't read the bible is because they don't understand it. So I've been buying these for them. They are awesome.

I was searching for a NJKV Bible for my kids for school (2nd & 3rd grade). The text is laid out in a readable format and the explanation capsules are filled with information.

I liked this Bible so much that I went out and bought my own and use it daily!!!!! Because it is the "New" King James Version, it is a close approximation of the KJV but with a little less of the old English language. And, it has become my PRIMARY study Bible. As such, I only suplement my studies with the Message Bible, or the NIV, or other translations.

I can honestly say that this Bible has been tremendously effective in my understanding of the word and in helping the scriptures come alive in my life.

I don't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and my youth group.

I am a Youth Pastor and this is a great Bible to give away to JH or HS. It is spirit filled and relevant for them. The NIV doesn't cut it anymore. Get this if you want your kids to know the Bible in a powerful revelational way.

This is a great youth study bible. I brought it for my teenagers and they love it! My son is excited about reading his bible because this bible helps you understand the scriptures more easily. I purchased three bibles in total. The print is a little too small for me but the teenagers don't have a problem with it. You won't regret getting this bible.

My wife loved this bible so much she had me buy four more

This is an awesome Bible for those of us who believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. In other Bibles that I have, some of the comments that are made by the authors, occassionally I don't agree with. But in this Bible, the comments are Biblically based, and come from the perspective of the entire Trinity. All my kids now have one of these Bibles! Awesome!

bigger print would have made it a 5 star, but it is a great study book.

Great NKJV Bible, with Jack Hayford as editor... great interpretations of scriptures, great insight, with multiple viewpoints represented... very, very helpful and not just for students! but aimed at younger people... still a great tool for any age...

I have given this to three of my favorite teenagers who were looking for a study bible that was packed full of good, easy-to-find study information, but didn't make them look like they were geeks while carrying it.All three report taking it out in class and using it for free reading time and it slips under the radar. Their youth pastors like it because of the terrific word knowledge and historical information right on the pages with the bible text. I own the adult version, and will continue to give the student version as I see the need.
