Kundalini inspires Creativity,
By JJ Semple "Connecticut Yogi" (Humboldt County, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems (Paperback)
New information on the power of Kundalini is appearing everyday. A prime example is Neil Sinclair's new book, The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems. This book is inspirational in two senses: 1) His poems leave the reader inspired; 2) His poems are the result of an inspired vision.
If you know about Kundalini, or have had a Kundalini experience, you've probably felt a wave of creativity sweep over you at some point. This happened in Neil Sinclair's case. His poems sprung from nowhere; they took shape out of the ether. Yet they address many issues, sometimes acting like alternative headlines for the media stories of doom and gloom. They're fun, they're witty, and they force you to reflect. Does this kind of inspiration just happen? Or does it take cultivating? In Neil's case it happened after a spontaneous Kundalini awakening. But they're are many ways of activating Kundalini and its attendant creative powers. Gopi Krishna's book Kundalini: The Evolutionary Energy in Man is one of the first relevant case studies on using meditation to awaken the creative power of Kundalini. The Backward-Flowing Method: The Secret of Life and Death provides additional information on making Kundalini permanent. The Spirit Flies Free: The Kundalini Poems adds to the growing field of knowledge around Kundalini and the creative powers it bestows on those who awaken it. |
