We enjoyed the book very much. It makes a person realize even more how much we owe test pilots and their families. Mr Fittante is a very good descriptive writer. We hope he's already working on his next book.

Very good first book from Mr. Fittante! I'm an aviation buff who loves thrillers-- and it was a thrill to get back into the cockpit with Frank Farago as he put the B-2 through its paces. What I really liked was that he did not get bogged down in the "pilot techno-babble" that loses those of us who are not pilots. The lurking conspiracy added flair and drove the novel to its "wow" conclusion. Fast paced, with great characters, this is a must read for Clancy fans. Well done, and looking forward to this author's next effort!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The next Tom Clancy?, June 30, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Spirit Flight (Paperback)
This book has a little bit of everything that I like: solid plot, flying, great characters, flying, a love interest, international intrigue, and did I mention flying? Mr. Fittante certainly demonstrates his knowledge of the B-2 and it's fascinating to get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a test pilot. Lots of technical stuff about flying, but very accessible for those of us who are not pilots. The intrigue builds as the main character finds himself in the middle of a cover-up and a love affair. Highly recommended for anyone who likes flying, conspiracy and great writing!
