About the Author

Jenny Crawford (New Zealand) has been a medium, teacher, and lecturer for the past twenty-five years. She first became aware of her spiritual gifts at an early age. When she was 18, Elma Farmer (an internationally-known medium) invited Jenny to join a development circle, and Maureen Chapman, another well-known medium, also helped her develop her gifts.

Crawford has been offering private psychic readings to thousands of clients worldwide for many years. In addition, she has also been involved in platform work, and finds it very rewarding to reach a large group with clairvoyant messages from the spirit world. Her seminars, which cover all aspects of psychic and spiritual teachings, are based on healing and teaching people to raise their energy levels to "share the light and link together."

Self-described as a "middle woman" between those in the spirit world and those still living on earth, Crawford is dedicated to educating people about death not being the end of our existence.

Do you ever have that feeling that you are
not alone? Even when the house is empty?
Sometimes, when a person dies, their ego holdsthem to the physical body. Other times the personwho has died does not realize that his or her life onearth has ended. The person may have never considered that there is life beyond death. (The film TheSixth Sense with Bruce Willis is in my view a verydescriptive portrayal of what happens when a person
passes over and does not realize that his physicalbody has died.)

Encounters with these spirits are not always gruesome r frightening, as I discovered in 1999 when I had an exciting experience while staying in a beautiful,angelic home in San Marcos, California. For about two weeks I had felt a strong presence in the house. I really
didn't take much notice, as I do feel spirit around me most of the time. My husband Rob and I were planning  a holiday with our dear friends, Lars and Gloria, and so I ignored the spirit presence as the four of us went off for a two-week vacation together.
Upon our return home, Lars and Gloria's daughter, Britta, had felt a presence in the house. Britta is a paramedic, an earth angel, and is very intuitive. She told us that one day she came down the stairs in the house and
some of the kitchen cupboards were open.
On another occasion she was showering and heard a man's voice call out "hello." She replied back to him, thinking it was her brother visiting the house, but when she came out of the shower the house was empty, or at least no one was visibly present.
Another time she was driving her car to work, and had such an overwhelming feeling of a man in the backseat that she stopped in the street to investigate. Her vehicle was empty, even though the hairs on the back of her neck and arms were still standing up strongly.
After hearing Britta's report, I felt there was a spirit in the house. I had a strong urge to investigate the upstairs bathroom, and I can almost always guarantee that a spirit is in a particular room when I feel this way.

They also seem to like being in bathrooms; it may be the water flow that gives them energy.
That night when I was drifting off to sleep I was awakened by footsteps in the bedroom. I said the Lord's Prayer and fell back to sleep. I went into a deep, deep slumber and then I was aware of a man lying behind me in the bed; even though I felt the presence, I could not open my eyes. I did not feel afraid at anytime as he stretched his large hands around my body and held my hands tightly with both of his. I could see a vision of a tall, well-dressed man in a suit wearing black, polished
shoes. As he continued to hold my hands very tightly, I began to pray and pray. I reached for his hands and placed them in the air pointing toward the sky. I asked him to go to God and to be beamed up to the light. As I continued to say the Lord's Prayer I saw him start to lift up. I prayed four times and each time I could see
his arms and hands raised up in the air facing toward the light. His feet started to float off the ground and he looked as though he was floating through a field of white clouds.
I believe he had come to me because he knew I could help to rescue his soul. I felt he had been in a motor accident, and had followed paramedic Britta home.
This man had come to me to be released. He was afraid to let go for fear of the unknown. He waited for me to return to the house, as he was guided to me to help release his soul and send him toward the light.

Through the power of prayer he was sent home to the spirit world, and his soul was released and rescued. I felt a peace come over me as he moved toward heaven, and the house settled down again very quickly. Even though he was a stranger to me, I felt privileged to have helped him to free his spirit, and the feeling I got while seeing him rise up to the light will stay with me forever. I cannot tell you how humbled and wonderful I felt to be a part of this man's transition, as some souls do
have great difficulty passing through the veil. They may have passed over very quickly or in an unbearable situation —for example, in tragic circumstances, they could have been murdered, or died in a prison. The conditions
surrounding a person's death do determine the
level of peace they take with them into the next life. I have had communication with many spirits who have not realized that they are now in another dimension. The spirit may think that they are still living on the earth plane. They are called earthbound spirits or lost souls. These souls feel they have not completed their life's work or lessons on earth, and choose to stay in spirit form as they hover around familiar surroundings and still-living love links. Some spiritual groups gather together on a regular basis to help these souls pass through the veil. The group sits together in a circle, praying that they will receive love and light. During these circles a telepathic
communication is made through a medium, or a member of the spiritual group, to help send the earthbound soul on their way. This helps to release the soul from this earthly world, and allows them to be free spirits, enabling their earthbound soul to transcend to the spiritual
realms as they float upward through the transparent curtain of the veil.

When my boyfriend died in a car accident, he was the
second boyfriend to die in six years and I loved him
very much! I was desperately looking for answers.
Answers I was hoping quite desperately to find in the
book store. I read her book and it really did
facilitate the healing process. It helped me
understand why? Why it is that I became afraid of the
dark on both occasions. Why it is that I felt no
enthusiasm for ANYTHING because I purely "had no
energy for it". Helped me realise I am not alone...
and althought I have not seen him as clearly as his
Mom... he has found ways to
let me know he is there. The one day I was sitting
alone in a coffee shop reading her book blissfully
unaware of anything else. When I suddenly realised
there was music playing in the mall. And the song I
was hearing was by a band we had gone to see the night
he died. Two days before his 27th birthday. The VIP
ticket was my birthday present. :-( The song
playing had the words... "I never wanted to be lonely
only wanted you. The summer wind stood still when you
left and you went away......I'm drowning in the tears
in my face... I never really told you 'bout the way I
feel but I never believed that this time would stand
still...". Thank you Jenny. ANYONE who doesn't buy
this book would only be doing themselves a disservice.
Its the best thing you could do for yourself in those
circumstances. Or even just to understand...! Its a
truly brilliant book and I travel with it by my side
now! I have passages marked that I read when I am
feeling discouraged. Go for it! You won't regret it.

Jenny Crawford, from New Zealand, radiates kindness and is a world-class clairvoyant medium, in the same league as James Van Praagh and John Edward. She's a close personal friend of mine, and I'm happy to report she conducts her personal life with the same love she exhibits on stage and in her professional readings. Her new book, Spirit of Love, details some of her experiences as a medium. The stories are rich, heart touching, and very healing. This lovely book will provide answers for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, or just curious what it is like to be a medium. Jenny is "the real deal," and I fully endorse her work.

This is the best book I've ever read on life after-death. I enjoyed reading Jenny Crawford's first book - THROUGH THE EYES OF SPIRIT - but found her new book SPIRIT OF LOVE filled with even more valuable information. Best selling author Richard Webster has written the forward for this book, and I have enjoyed reading many of his books.

Jenny's book left me filled with love and a positive outlook on life. I find her work very healing.
