"...worth its weight in gold...a book that got down to the nitty-gritty." --
The Gazette"Spirit of the Open Road is by far the best guide for RVers we've seen and we have looked everywhere, We take it with us everytime we go on a trip." --
Roger and Louise GendalionSpirit of the Open Road has received many rave reviews from both Canadian and American readers. All say that the book is light, informative and easy to read. Many RVers who bought the book at various RV shows and dealer open house events have commented that they have read and reread the book up to five or six times and it has become their "on-the-road bible". In an independent book review published in RV Lifestyle magazine (February, 1998), writer Paul Van Hooydonk commented that, with the numerous hints and tips in the book, "Peggi proves she is also the Martha Stewart of the open road."
A quote from the RVUSA Bulletin Board by Pat Mulvihill says it all, "If you don't do anything else, get Peggi's and John's book. I have just read it and it is full of tips you wouldn't even know to ask about until it is too late." -- From the Publisher

My husband John and I were both in the Canadian Military, together we served a total of 59 years of service. Since we joined up at 17 and 18, we spent most of our working years moving from one place to another. As young retirees, (Peggi age 44, John age 48) becoming Fulltime RVers seemed a natural choice of retirement.
