It is said that there are two basic paths in this world: the path of fear, and the path of love. One may well ask then, who fears what why? And who or what is love, conditioned by or unconditionally beyond what level of self and reality? "True religion," writes Tisziji, "is the Heart-self realization of free Spirit being." Living and breathing this religionless religion, Tisziji thus speaks the purest love, inviting and guiding on the Spirit Path.

A universal teaching, Spirit Path is for all, but an especially excellent text for beginning practitioners or those who intuit a deeper side to life. The book's preface notes the text is a compilation of talks from a formal teaching phase (1990-91), in which specific talks were given to specific individuals at specific times. But the wisdom is timeless. The text feels alive, as if this great Master is present with you in your living room, at the park, on the cushion, there to answer your questions about the past the future, and right now, on-the-spot.

The words are direct, simple, and touch upon topics that every person can relate to. The opening chapter for instance, sets right out to move the practitioner beyond mere thinking and reading of the Heart to embracing it, practicing its way, and realizing it. Another chapter focuses on the sacred triune of humanity, spirit, and earth -- a beautiful and prescient talk that could prove invaluable to anyone aware of the deepening crises of mankind, looking for the window to Spirit and the role of the individual. Spoken over two decades ago, it was a talk well ahead of its time.

A significant theme throughout the book is healing.
