A very enjoyable mix. June is featured but has lots of help from the group. The titled track is the best.

June's album goes beyond Spirit and Soul, it is life... If you love Hiroshima's music this is an extension into another plane. From the initial track dedicated to America's native peoples, June takes you on a voyage into the soul of Hiroshima's vision. A fusion of Japanese-American experiences from the issei to the yonsei and beyond. The titles of the songs paint images in the mind as you listen. Children of Our Wars paints an image of the Asian wars we have fought and the kids that were left behind and those that come over as orphans. Every song stands alone and as a piece of the tapestry that she is creating. A superb well crafted masterpiece. A+++
