I think every classical guitarist should own a copy of this CD. For me, Slava always plays with such conviction and honesty. There are no gimmicks just good playing and a great choice of tracks. For me, the Torroba is the best... ... I just wish I could get my hands on the Essential Slava at a reasonable price, my last order was lost in the post and never arrived - I'll keep looking.
